The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods across the supply chain, from vendor coordination to inventory control and on-time delivery across retail stores. This role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and overall computer literacy is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Ensure retail stores maintain adequate stock levels in line with demand.
- Monitor and track inventory across warehouses, depots, and retail locations.
- Review orders and delivery timetables to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Oversee shipment arrival details and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Manage SKU-level data to maintain accuracy and control across all product lines.
- Prepare regular stock movement and product tracking reports for management.
Supply Chain Operations:
- Continuously review supply chain processes and implement improvement strategies.
- Ensure timely movement of products through depots and to final destinations.
- Measure, monitor, and maintain reports on key supply chain items, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve critical issues.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
- Manage vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, retail operations, and finance.
Team & Process Management:
- Lead and guide team members involved in supply chain and inventory functions.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and supply chain best practices.
- Drive process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong computer literacy with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience as an ERP end-user.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in inventory control, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
