Supply Chain Officer – Skincare Sourcing

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer – Skincare Sourcing to manage the sourcing and procurement of skincare raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. The ideal candidate will have experience working with skincare, cosmetic, or personal care products and will be responsible for supplier management, sourcing strategies, cost optimization, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Logistics, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Related field.

Experience

2–3 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations. Prior experience in the skincare, cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry is preferred. Experience sourcing skincare raw materials, active ingredients, packaging components, and contract manufacturing services will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

* Source skincare raw materials, active ingredients, fragrances, packaging materials, and finished products from local and international suppliers.

* Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.

* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply agreements with vendors.

* Coordinate with product development, quality assurance, and production teams regarding material specifications and sourcing requirements.

* Manage purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials.

* Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.

* Track inventory levels and forecast material requirements to prevent stock shortages.

* Coordinate import-related activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and freight arrangements.

* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and product quality standards.

* Conduct market research to identify new ingredients, packaging innovations, and sourcing opportunities.

* Analyze procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.

* Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and sourcing reports.

Requirements

* Strong knowledge of skincare and cosmetic raw materials, ingredients, and packaging components.

* Understanding of international sourcing and import procedures.

* Experience with supplier negotiations and contract management.

* Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office.

* Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.

* Knowledge of cosmetic industry regulations and quality standards is preferred.

Preferred Skills

* Experience sourcing from international markets, including China, South Korea, Europe, and other cosmetic manufacturing hubs.

* Understanding of ingredient certifications, product compliance requirements, and quality documentation.

* Knowledge of demand planning and inventory management.
