Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager, Cloud Infrastructure

Location: 100% remote

Rate: $42-$44/ hour

Duration: Through 6/30/26 - Extension expected

This role supports the Supply Chain Operations Management organization within our client's Cloud Supply Chain and Provisioning. The position plays a critical role in enabling predictable, on‑time delivery of server infrastructure to by stabilizing supply and demand, improving cycle time, optimizing cost, and driving operational efficiency across internal and external supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key operational link between Capacity Planning and Build Order and Fulfillment teams to stabilize supply and demand execution.
• Drive demand and supply shaping activities to support timely server reservations and delivery to global data centers.
• Utilize data and analytics to align supply with capacity plans and customer demand requirements.
• Establish, define, and manage key performance indicators to drive continuous process improvement.
• Monitor inventory health and implement tools and processes to minimize overstock and stock‑out risk.
• Develop and manage internal and external performance metrics across Microsoft and supplier partners.
• Partner cross‑functionally with engineering, planning, operations, and supplier teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Manage tradeoffs between supplier constraints and business priorities while maintaining delivery commitments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in parallel with day‑to‑day operational execution.
• Support organization‑wide initiatives focused on improving delivery, reliability, and supply chain agility.

Performance Measurement

Contractor performance will be measured against established operational KPIs, including but not limited to:

• On‑time server reservation performance
• Delay days and exception resolution timelines
• Effectiveness in driving continuous improvement and operational stability

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline required
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred

Experience

• Background in supply chain operations, planning, and execution within high‑tech, electronics manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, or service supply chain environments
• Experience operating in complex, cross‑functional and globally distributed teams

Core Skills

• Supply chain planning, demand and supply matching, and inventory management
• Advanced data analysis to identify risks, gaps, and performance improvement opportunities
• Strong project management skills across multiple internal teams and external partners
• Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Performance metric development and KPI management
• Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and operational escalations effectively

Candidate Requirements

Pay: $42.00 - $44.00 per hour
