Supply Chain Planner

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading automotive manufacturing company in the Fountain Inn, SC area, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in a global manufacturing operation, driving efficiency and ensuring materials flow seamlessly from supplier to customer.

Supply Chain Planner Job Summary

• Pay: $70,000 – $90,000 annually
• Shift: Monday – Friday, standard business hours
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply and demand plans using ERP/MRP systems and forecasting tools
• Translate demand forecasts into supply requirements aligned with production and procurement
• Monitor forecast accuracy and collaborate with sales and operations to improve reliability
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs
• Track inventory health, safety stock, and replenishment needs
• Identify and mitigate risks of stockouts or excess inventory
• Create and release production plans to meet demand requirements
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely supply and resolve issues
• Partner with sales, marketing, and finance to align supply chain plans with business objectives
• Provide supply chain visibility and reporting to stakeholders
• Lead supply review meetings as part of the S&OP process
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement best practices
• Leverage data analytics and KPIs to enhance decision-making
• Support system enhancements and digital transformation initiatives
  
  

Supply Chain Planner Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, demand, or production planning (automotive experience preferred)
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• APICS/CPIM certification is a plus
