MRP planner

Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and maintain material requirements planning (MRP) schedules to support production and customer orders.
Analyze demand forecasts, sales orders, and production plans to determine material requirements.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
Release and maintain work orders, ensuring material availability for production.
Monitor and update ERP/MRP system data, including lead times, safety stock levels, and BOM accuracy.
Track and report on material shortages, delays, and risks, communicating proactively with stakeholders.
Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to align supply with demand.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing shortages, excess, and obsolete stock.
Support cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and provide input on material availability and capacity constraints.
Identify and drive process improvements to enhance planning accuracy, efficiency, and cost control.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and shortage levels.
