Overview:
Responsible for the end to end finished goods supply plan for defined manufacturing facilities to deliver target service, including translating the rough cut capacity plan, as an input from the network modeler, into a daily supply plan within the 0-16wks weeks horizon: Manages inventory and waste risks and creates the distribution plan.
Additionally, supports operational planning and exceptional course correction.
This role will be recruited GBS as of 2023 and as such there will be a level of initial ambiguity in activity as the processes are adopted across during transition. It is expected that the role will therefore require an initial flexibility of approach as processes are primarily fixed tnen shifted and improved over following strategy cycles.
NEW: In addition to the above, this role is responsible for the successful preparation of Supply Planning critical S&OP monthly meeting: the SMR (Supply Management Review).
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production plans creation Ensure delivery of an optimised cross-site manufacturing supply plan, that can be scheduled, to maintain the target stock holding of all SKU’s to deliver service to BU’s
- Responsible to create constrained capacity production plans within the planning horizon
- Responsible for the review of detailed line scheduling plans
- Responsible for inventory and business waste projections with the market.
- Responsible to prepare an execute Supply Review for Platform/Hub as part of the monthly iS&OP cycle
- Monitor key service metrics and worst performers with Integrated Planning Lead and directors.
- Analyse root-causes for worst performers and support on the definition of action plans
- Integration point between Market and GBS
- Enables product supply for the commercial change agenda:
- Support NPD launches & phase in/phase out changes by ensuring supply planning systems are set up in advance
- Effectively communicate changes to the scheduling teams, & the supply plan through the appropriate channels.
- Leading on tracking JDA recommendations, planning QTY’s and production performance on a weekly basis per site/item to ensure appropriate root cause and corrective actions for any VF impact.
- Leading supply control preparation cycle and consolidating region capacity/DOH charts, potential risks and corrective actions on weekly basis.
- Leading on daily PSA consolidation for full west Europe snacks cluster.
NEW : SMR preparation focus:
Preparation work entails 3 key activities, to be completed in a timely manner and in close coordination with BU Demand Fulfillment teams and Sector Capacity Planning teams.
1- Data preparation
- Secure readiness and accuracy of all data needed for critical JDA updates (calendars, production rates, external forecast…)
2- SMR template / plan preparation
- Perform Cycle over Cycle analysis to understand changes from previous cycle
- Prepare SMR plan using Blue-Yonder S&OP standard template, applying all necessary configuration changes, capacity and supply overlays. Work on different scenarios to maximise supply and achieve KPI targets.
3- SMR deck preparation and handover
- Run first and second pass plan analysis to identify and solve issues upfront
- Prepare SMR deck as per standard template, including all visuals and actions/decision to make
- Lead SMR handover meeting to Demand Fulfillment and Capacity Planning teams
- Gather feedback from SMR and do the necessary preparation activities and system setup for the following cycle.
As we roll-out our Global IBP standards across the sector, this role will be key to transition preparation into O9 new system. Data inputs and overall preparation process will remain as per above.
Qualifications:
- University degree Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics / Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 1 Year Experience in Supply Planning role (incl. inventory mgmt.)
- Experience of planning in supply planning tools – / Prolink
- Analytical skills
- Masters planning methodologies, optimization etc
- Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural teams spread across geographies
- Experience in ERP (SAP) usage must have
- Good numeric abilities;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel
- Strong organization
- Ability to make sense of complex data, extract and communicate key messages and decision to be made
- Fluency in English is a Must
