The Job
As our
Supply Chain Specialist
, your primary role will be to process purchase orders and confirm purchase order quantity, delivery, and price. You will track orders and investigate inventory and receiving issues. You will plan, order, and expedite all assigned materials needed to meet production requirements, thereby satisfying customer requirements. You will also assist with managing vendors, performing cost analysis and assist in negotiations. You will assist across all SJE locations by developing and executing sourcing strategies by leveraging commonalities and requirements in relation to indirect sourcing. You will work closely with a variety of departments in identifying supply chain improvement opportunities and lead the supplier collaboration effort with internal stakeholders to enhance the supplier relationship to meet and exceed service level agreement deliverables. You will be responsible for managing Indirect Supplier Quality Management and indirect spending and suppliers.

Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience in a similar role with 4-6 years of experience is required. A degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field is preferred.
