Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Monitoring & Execution – Monitor and ensure on-time pickup and delivery of shipments for managed transportation customers.
Carrier Documentation & Invoicing – Ensure timely receipt and processing of carrier documentation and invoices.
Customer Support & Communication – Respond promptly to client needs via email and phone, including tracking, tracing, and resolving shipment issues.
Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement – Identify carrier performance concerns and recommend corrective actions to management.
Cross-Functional Support – Participate in cross-training and provide coverage for other Logistics Specialists to ensure seamless customer support.
Work Environment
Fast-paced transportation/logistics office environment
Frequent communication via phone and email
Multi-tasking across shipments, systems, and customer requests
Extended computer usage required
Regular attendance is essential
Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in a transportation, logistics, or customer service role
Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Additional Information
Pay/Benefits/Perks
$22-23/hr
Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
