Supply Chain Specialist

Summary: Enables our Jersey Mike’s stores to continue to be “A Sub Above” by ensuring the smooth flow of products from suppliers, through distribution partners, into Jersey Mike’s locations. Forge internal and external relationships to foster long term partnerships. Proactively recognize potential supply chain challenges and take steps to mitigate impact. Identify opportunities for cost saving measures and continuous improvement to our processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure distribution partners are adhering to contractual expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement with our distribution partners through regular Key Performance Indicator evaluations
  • Analyze inventory systems to assess present and future product availability
  • Assess inventory levels and forecast future needs; orchestrate response where needed to keep our stores in stock
  • Proactively communicate to distributors product changes, openings, promotions, and other events that affect demand
  • Develop relationships with franchise owners, store managers, operations partners, suppliers, and distributors to resolve delivery and quality concerns
  • Verify distributor partner pricing is accurate on order guides
  • Assist our Quality Assurance team by documenting quality issues by advocating the adoption of our Food Safety Incident Management tool.

Qualification/Requirements:

  • Two years+ of college or equivalent experience
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software - Excel prowess including pivot tables and familiarity with CrunchTime! is a plus

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $91,000 per year dependent on experience and qualifications
