Supply Chain Specialist

As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a " Supply Chain Specialist" with below requirements for our client operating in manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or related disciplines,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement and Supply Chain processes,
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, sourcing, negotiation and procurement operations,
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills,
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities,
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment,
• Result-oriented with strong follow-up and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with internal project teams to understand operational needs and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Evaluate suppliers and products based on quality, cost, delivery reliability and strategic alignment.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and supplier agreements in compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including shipment planning, transportation and delivery tracking.
• Monitor supplier performance and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Manage import/export processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Track shipments, resolve delays and proactively address supply chain disruptions.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of received goods, resolving any issues related to damage, shortages, or non-conformance.
• Analyze industry trends, demand patterns and logistics costs to support sourcing and supply chain strategies.
• Maintain accurate procurement, inventory and logistics records, and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulatory standards.
