Title: Distribution Specialist I
Duration: 5 Months Contract
Location: Frederick, MD

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary
The Distribution Specialist I will support materials and warehouse operations within a newly built, state-of-the-art CAR-T manufacturing facility. This role provides hands-on exposure to Materials Management operations in a GMP and FDA-regulated environment and plays a critical role in ensuring timely and compliant material flow to support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Execute daily warehouse tasks and monitor completion of assigned activities
• Receive incoming shipments of GMP and non-GMP materials and equipment following established procedures
• Dispense GMP materials to support production and manufacturing operations
• Prepare and deliver raw materials to various departments, ensuring proper procedures and temperature controls are followed
• Maintain accurate inventory records for GMP warehouse materials
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and execute accurate ERP transactions
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations leadership and escalate as needed
• Cross-train in additional areas of warehouse operations
• Prepare general shipments and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures (excluding patient material)
• Ensure all required training is current and up to date
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, inspection-ready warehouse environment
• Complete and maintain in-house forklift certification
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience & Skills
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or materials environment
• Working knowledge of GMP-regulated environments
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
