Role Purpose
The Specialist – Supply Chain (Warehouse) is responsible for supervising and coordinating inventory, warehouse operations, and materials management activities. The role ensures optimal stock levels, timely replenishment, procurement coordination, and compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
OR Diploma with additional relevant experience
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- CIPS or similar certification (preferred)
Experience
- 4–6 years of relevant supply chain or warehouse experience
- Mandatory experience in a healthcare warehouse environment
- Experience in large healthcare facilities is preferred

Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Supervise and manage daily warehouse and inventory control activities
- Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Conduct physical stock checks and ensure accurate documentation
- Oversee storage standards for cost-effective and safe material handling
Procurement & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate purchase requests, orders, and supplier follow-ups
- Monitor purchase order progress and delivery schedules
- Support freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transportation
- Review and authorize local purchases and petty cash transactions
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare procurement and inventory status reports
- Support budgeting and operational planning
- Ensure compliance with healthcare supply chain policies and audits
- Monitor operational KPIs and service levels
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as liaison between departments, vendors, and warehouse teams
- Ensure high service standards across internal departments
- Supervise warehouse staff, set KPIs, and conduct performance reviews
- Coordinate training and onboarding of new team members
Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards
- Maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance
- Support audit processes and corrective actions
