Supply Chain - Strategic Projects Partner

The Amphenol High Technology Group is seeking a Supply Chain – Strategic Projects Partner who will lead the development, alignment, and execution of supply chain initiatives across a network of sister business units within the group. Operating at the group level, this role ensures strategic consistency, operational excellence, and collaborative synergy across diverse supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on partner with the business unit General Manager SCM goals with a deep understanding of supply chain systems, cross-functional leadership, and group-level transformation.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Strategic Alignment Partnership

  • Develop and implement group-wide supply chain strategies that support business unit growth and goals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to sister businesses, identifying opportunities for collaboration, cost improvement, delivery performance, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with customer purchasing leaders to manage strategic pricing and supply chain discussions, while partnering with internal business units to drive key customer initiatives and support complex pricing negotiations.

Operational Excellence

  • Directly involved in supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning across business units.
  • Drive standardization of processes and systems to improve performance and reduce costs.

Cross-Business Collaboration

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across sister business units.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance cost saving and delivery responsiveness.

Technology & Innovation

  • Champion digital transformation efforts including ERP optimization, supply chain analytics, and automation where applicable.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve supply chain visibility and agility.

Risk & Performance Management

  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance across the group.
  • Lead risk mitigation strategies including supplier diversification, contingency planning, and compliance oversight. Must be familiar with ever changing tariffs, duties, exchange rate risks related to sales and purchase currency imbalances.

Strategic Initiatives

  • This role includes responsibility for leading or supporting strategic initiatives deemed critical to the group, including projects outside the traditional scope of supply chain operations.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership, preferably in a multi-business manufacturing sector group-level role.
  • Proven success in strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, supply chain analytics, and digital tools.
  • Ability to work fully remote or on site at one of the business units with frequent travel to key business units and suppliers- which could include frequent international travel.
