How you'll contribute

A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role:

  • Conducts and maintains all inventories in the Point of Use System.
  • Picks supplies using department order sheets and emergency request as required
  • Maintains customer service levels by establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Stocks received products into warehouse assigned stock location
  • Maintains all equipment utilized by Materials Management Department
  • Keeps Beckley campus, Raleigh General stockroom and areas clean and free of safety hazards
  • Demonstrates knowledge of overall function of the Materials Department and is cross trained to aid in different functions as needed

What we're looking for
Qualified applicants must have completed a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Additional requirements include:

  • Current state driver's license for driving company vehicles is required
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to confidently drive a 26 foot automatic transmission box truck.
  • Prior material handling/supply experience preferred.
  • Bending, stooping and stretching are also required. Must have basic computer skills, able to run stockroom equipment, and be customer service oriented.
  • Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuing basis, despite frequent interruptions.

Schedule: This is a Full Time, Benefited position. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 7am- 3:30pm, with an on call rotating assignment.
