Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the preparation of the Supply Planning section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.

Recommend improvements to policy and direct the implementation of instructions covering all areas of Supply Planning activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service

Supervises the day-to-day operations of Supply Planning to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.

Lead the Sales and Operations planning process to set production plan matched with the demand plan.

Lead the Supply Chain Optimization Initiative to overcome all the Material Supply flow restriction.

Lead the start-up of the Supply Chain Planning Systems (MRP) to control the material source & supplying.

Determining the gross and net requirements using Bill of Materials, MPS and on hand stocks.

Planning imported and local required packaging materials & raw materials.
-
Continuous communication and follow up with procurements to ensure materials are available to be delivered on time and to absorb any change in production plans.

Maintenance of agreed upon inventory level “Safety Stock policy” to ensure no production stoppage due to materials shortage and coordinating interplant transfers to meet required production schedules.

Ensure efficient phase in/phase out processes to achieve minimal materials write-off cost.
Academic and professional qualifications:

Bachelor of Science, Commerce with grade good or above
Experience:
-
3-5 years relevant experience in Planning Field including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities as planning Manager in FMCG/procurement role within a manufacturing facility

MRP knowledge is recommended.
