Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of Subordinates

Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of Material Planning activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor them adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
Day- to-day Operations
-
Develop the material plans based on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and share figures with sourcing team in order to start the contracts process.

Ensure material availability in meeting monthly production plan.

Present periodical MRP reports, present material coverage status.

Closely monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and warehouses to maintain adequate levels of materials.

Expedite and reschedule open purchase orders to suit production planning requirements in order to secure the stock level based on MRP system.

Balance production and inventory levels with demand in order to support target consistency levels, inventory turn goals and capacity utilization/staffing requirements.

Use and maintain MRP data as the primary planning system tool in order to make full monitoring and control.

Mange all KPIs for plant supply department

Set method of calculation for all KPIs

Organize weekly TF meeting (present updated KPIs result, compliance, projection, collect actions during meeting, attendance)

Review all results of KPIs with costing manager

Make GAP analysis for any drop on KPIs to rectify GAP

Mange actual V.s target to active monthly and yearly target to reflect in business and moral people Manage

Manage and Monitor cost of FG and Logistics to avoid any extra cost.

Calculate compliance for all KPIs at end of every month.

Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase in & out in order to facilitate the production flow without any restriction.

Maintain the lowest possible level of inventory.
Academic and professional qualifications:
-
Bachelor of science, commerce or equivalent.
Experience:
-
2-4 Years of experience in Material Planning role within a manufacturing facility.
