Supply Planning Sr. Supervisor

We are looking for a Supply Planning Sr. Supervisor to join our Global Business Services team in Cairo. This position will play a key role in connecting our Planning Hub with the market, ensuring reliable supply planning operations across Europe and AMESA. The role requires strong expertise in end-to-end supply planning and the ability to lead teams through complex challenges and transitions.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of 8–10 planners, innovation coordinators, and master data specialists, ensuring high performance and development.

  • Design, optimize, and execute cross-site production and supply plans that balance capacity constraints, inventory targets, and service levels across markets.

  • Review and approve detailed line scheduling plans, ensuring alignment with overall supply and business objectives.

  • Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and escalate issues to leadership when required.

  • Monitor inventory and waste projections, driving actions with market stakeholders to optimize stock and minimize losses.

  • Oversee master data accuracy and governance, ensuring timely updates and compliance with standards.

  • Manage the innovation pipeline, integrating new product launches seamlessly into supply plans.

  • Prepare and lead supply reviews (weekly execution IS&OP, monthly S&OP, and Supply Monthly Reviews), contributing to strategic decision-making.

  • Act as first point of escalation for supply planning issues, supporting planners in crisis resolution and ensuring alignment with market and sector priorities.

  • Partner with demand fulfillment managers and market stakeholders to align plans, monitor KPIs, and address performance gaps.

  • Analyze root causes of underperformance and drive corrective action plans with planning leads and directors.

  • Represent GBS Supply Planning in strategic meetings with the market, ensuring effective integration and collaboration.

  • Lead process adoption and improvement initiatives, including Run to Standard, compliance targets, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written skills)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or Logistics.

  • 3 - 5 years or proven experience in supply planning, with strong knowledge of end-to-end planning processes.

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated leadership skills managing teams of 4 or more direct reports.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management capabilities.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and planning methodologies.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions and geographies.
