Support Specialist

If this is you, we are looking for an Support Specialist to provide top notch patient communication!! This person helps support our three practices by coordinating new and existing patient’s appointments and experience. Often this includes the first point of contact via phone or email, allowing the dentists, front office coordinators, and hygienists to focus on providing excellent in-office dental care. This is accomplished by phone, text, and email interaction with current and prospective patients. This is a Full Time (5 Days/wk) office administrative position initially based our of our Blue Ash location, which includes partial/full remote working after onboarding has been successfully completed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


● Answering new patient phone calls, scheduling new and existing patient appointments, collecting detailed info for insurance and clinical regarding patient.


● Utilizing patient management software to manage patient & insurance info and ensure confirmed patient appointments.


● Assisting with insurance verification on a consistent basis, helping with insurance verification based on skills and desires.


● Supporting business goals by scheduling appointments effectively and supporting the practice revenue objectives.


● Following and demonstrating commitment to Moorehead Dentistry policies, professional expectations, clinical service excellence, and outstanding patient service.


● Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:


● Previous dental front office experience is a requirement


● Insurance verification and detailed benefit review experience is strongly desired


● Previous experience scheduling for multiple providers (or locations) is strongly desired


● Strong ability to organize information and keep track of steps completed in a process.


● Friendly Customer Service with experience making professional phone calls


● A heart to care for the patients that we serve


● Self-motivated while be able to handle and account for specific tasks


● Ability to multi-task between phone calls, data entry, and patient interaction


● Handles fast paced environment with unwavering customer service


● Experience in software including: Microsoft office suite, Windows Mail, Internet Browser, Digital Scanner, Open Dental (Dentrix or other dental patient management software)


● Experience with a digital (VOIP) phone system is a plus
