Surgical Assistant for Oral Surgeon

Looking for a Oral Surgery assistant for a single doctor Oral Surgery practice. Applicants must have prior dental experience. Oral Surgery experience is preferred. Looking for motivated and organized individuals. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required. If you want to expand your knowledge and are a confident dedicated dental assistant this could be the position for you. We ask for commitment to excellent patient care and knowledge of dental/medical terminology.

Duties include but not limited to: chairside assisting, sterilization, monitoring patients vital signs, triage phone calls, post-op instructions, turn over & set up surgery rooms, stocking supplies, digital x-rays, charting in electronic records.

Hourly pay will be based on candidate's relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Qualifications:

Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Good manual dexterity

Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs

Document care by charting in an electronic medical record.
