Surveyor : Total Station

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor with hands-on experience operating Total Station instruments to conduct precise land measurements and data collection for construction, engineering, or land development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying techniques, fieldwork procedures, and data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Total Station (e.g., Leica, Topcon, Sokkia) to perform land surveys and collect spatial data.
• Measure distances, angles, and elevations accurately on construction sites or land development areas.
• Set out construction points based on engineering and architectural drawings.
• Transfer field data to CAD or GIS software for plotting and design.
• Perform topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of surveying instruments.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Maintain clear and accurate field notes and records.
• Ensure compliance with local and international surveying standards.
• Interpret survey data and produce detailed site plans, maps, and reports.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in land surveying using Total Station equipment.
• Proficiency in operating Total Station and data collection tools.
• Familiarity with survey software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, etc.).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Physical fitness for outdoor fieldwork in various conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GPS, GNSS, and other surveying instruments.
• Knowledge of local land regulations and construction standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
