Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Sushi Chef to prepare high-quality sushi and Japanese dishes. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling seafood, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering visually appealing and delicious meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of sushi dishes including nigiri, maki, sashimi, and specialty rolls
  • Ensure freshness and quality of all ingredients, especially seafood
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Follow food safety regulations and proper storage procedures
  • Create new sushi menu items and presentations
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and support team members

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi-making techniques
  • Ability to handle raw fish safely and hygienically
  • Good knife skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary certification or training in Japanese cuisine
  • Experience in fine dining or high-end restaurants
  • Creativity in food presentation

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

  • 4l5 star hotel as sushi: 2 years (Required)
