Safe Harbor Marinas is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join the central services team. The Analyst will be responsible for ESG and Risk-related data analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Analysts are responsible for understanding ESG-related reporting requirements, assessing day-to-day company needs, collecting data from each SHM property, and analyzing it to discover trends or areas for improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Directly supports data collection, analysis and coordination for company’s annual sustainability reporting efforts to third-party reporting frameworks.

§ Oversees process of data collection, uploading and aggregation into company’s sustainability data tracking and reporting software system

Monitors and measures key performance indicators (KPIs) related to environmental goals set by the company

Monitors national and global trends in corporate sustainability best practices, particularly in the marine, real estate, and hospitality industries

Capturing and the analyzation of key Environmental, Health and Safety metrics including the OSHA DART & TRIR

Gathering data from various internal systems to perform analysis, monitor trends, and to understand and communicate risks

Assign and lead both weekly and monthly tasks with broader analyst team

Create stakeholder value by helping improve operations based on environmental and social data and metrics

Assists with developing presentation materials for our Senior Leadership and other stakeholders as needed, including qualitative and quantitative reports.

Assists with development and dissemination of sustainability-related communications materials for teammates, members, and other stakeholders as needed

Supports all other initiatives identified and prioritized by Senior Leadership in response to ever changing business conditions

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
§ Follow SHM safety and environmental rules and complete required related training
§ Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area
§ Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately
Technical and Physical Requirements
§ At least 1-3 years’ experience with data analysis (ESG preferred)
§ Strong quantitative skills and a passion for corporate sustainability
§ Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing high volume information with precision
§ Familiarity with third-party reporting frameworks preferred (GRI, SASB, TCFD, TCFD, CDP GRESB, etc.) Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistently strong work product Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
§ Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
§ Ability to lift 15 pounds
