The Opportunity

Arup is seeking a Sustainability Consultant based in our Dubai office. This is an exciting opportunity to join Arup's growing Sustainability & Climate team in the Middle East and contribute to some of the region's most strategic and high profile projects. These include Net Zero Building Design, Codes and Guidelines, Portfolio Decarbonisation and ESG, Climate Adaptation Strategies, and Sustainability Strategies and Policies.

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will support the delivery of sustainability and climate change services across the Middle East. You will work on projects that help clients understand climate impacts, develop net zero strategies, and implement sustainable design solutions. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will contribute to technical assessments, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery.

Supporting clients in understanding climate impacts and transitioning to net zero. Advising on sustainable design strategies and climate adaptation. Contributing to lifecycle carbon assessments and sustainability certifications. Engaging with stakeholders and presenting findings internally and externally.

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for the following skills.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience in sustainability consulting and design.
• Familiarity with sustainability rating systems such as LEED, WELL, Estidama, or Envision. Exposure to carbon accounting, climate risk, or building performance analysis is desirable.
• Proficiency in tools such as One Click LCA, or IESVE is a plus.
