We are looking for Consultant/Senior Consultants with sustainability reporting, environmental footprint calculation, social impact assessment, sustainable supple chains, sustainability strategy or sustainability management systems expertise to join our Sustainability Advisory Team in Turkiye. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and rapidly expanding sustainability team, working with a diverse client base to develop and support in delivering their objectives.

Job Description

The KPMG Sustainability Advisory Team offers comprehensive consulting solutions to address various sustainability challenges. Leveraging the collective knowledge and expertise of our team comprising both local and global experts, we strive to collaboratively deliver unparalleled value to our clients. Our primary objective is to assist clients in implementing, enhancing, and showcasing their unwavering dedication towards sustainability.

We deliver a wide range of services including, but not limited to: Sustainability Reporting, Sustainable Finance, Decarbonization Strategy Consulting, Ecological Footprint Calculation, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Risk Analysis; Sustainability Strategy, Sustainability Management System, Sustainable Supply Chain Solutions, Double Materiality, True Value; and ESG Due Diligence.

You will be expected to support the team on client projects as well as helping to grow our business.

Responsibilities

• Producing high-quality deliverables, on-time, prepared with in-depth knowledge about the client, their sector and both the local and international sustainability agenda as well as specific and well-developed insight into pathways and connections that showcase expertise in the field and depth of research.
• Managing key client accounts, as well as identification of new clients and work streams, proposals and bids and leading the sustainability aspects of the business
• Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders (at all levels of seniority) in client organizations
• Supporting internal and external communication via various channels: website, intranet, presentations, workshops, conferences, special events, newsletters, social media, videos, etc.
• Continuous learning, sharing knowledge with team members, and enhancing service delivery.

Requirements

• ·Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in sustainable development, economics, management, engineering, environmental science, or position-related other fields. A master’s degree or a PhD in these fields is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, either in corporate level or in a consultancy role.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office programs, PowerPoint and Excel are required at the very least.

Strong candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate:

• Proven knowledge and expertise in sustainability; covering advisory services such as sustainability reporting, sustainability strategy, supply chain sustainability, decarbonization and sustainability due diligence is an asset.
• Familiarity with recent developments like the CSRD, CSDDD, TSRS, TCFD, IFRS S1&S2, understanding of the SBTi framework.
• Ability to manage teams to deliver engagements on time and to budget.
• Capability as a thinker, translating strategies and concepts into concrete practice.
• Ability to think creatively to solve client needs.
• Strong communication skills, including report writing and presenting in Turkish & English.
