  • Reports to: Sustainability Manager
  • Travel: 0-10%
  • Salary: $22.00/hr.
  • Location: San Diego, CA or Golden, CO, hybrid
  • Summer Internship Dates: June-September
Role overview
DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a Sustainability Intern to join our team. We are looking for a passionate, motivated self‑starter who is eager to collaborate and make a meaningful impact as we continue our journey toward building a sustainable business.

Role responsibilities
  • Support the Sustainability Manager with day‑to‑day sustainability initiatives across the U.S.
  • Assist with promoting charity partnerships and volunteer opportunities, including drafting internal communications.
  • Help update and maintain communication tools to keep employees informed and engaged in sustainability efforts.
  • Assist with collecting and maintaining sustainability data, including information related to DUAL’s environmental and community impact goals.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional and global teams such as Human Resources and Communications & Marketing to support sustainability initiatives and reporting.
  • Share ideas and knowledge to inform our sustainability strategy and enhance internal processes.
Key requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Interest and passion for CSR and Sustainability.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
