Swatch Room Lead

Position Summary

The Swatch Room Lead is responsible for overseeing all swatch room operations, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer swatch requests, accurate inventory tracking, and seamless coordination of swatch and swatch book ordering. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales and client engagement by delivering exceptional customer service and providing knowledgeable product recommendations. The ideal candidate is passionate about textiles, highly process- and detail-oriented, and forward-thinking in improving systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Swatch Fulfillment & Customer Support

• Accurately process and fulfill customer swatch requests in a timely manner
• Provide knowledgeable product suggestions based on client needs, design intent, andapplication
• Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries related to samples and product details

Inventory Management & Ordering

• Track and maintain accurate swatch and swatch book inventory levels
• Monitor usage trends and proactively reorder materials to prevent shortages
• Coordinate with vendors to manage swatch and swatch book production and replenishment

Order Processing & Quote Creation

• Create detailed and accurate custom quotes for clients
• Support order processing workflows to ensure smooth transition from quote to purchase Communicate pricing, product specifications, and lead time for all custom pieces

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree
• Preferred experience in textiles, sample management, or related industry
• Experience in order processing and/or customer service environments
• Strong understanding of textile materials and applications

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
