Swim Teacher

Overview
MarciSwim is seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor in the BUCKHEAD AREA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, using the MarciSwim swim methods. This role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to engage with children effectively.

Responsibilities

• Teach young children swim basics using MarciSwim's method
• Keep kids engaged and learning using a loving but firm approach
• Track swimmers progress in mastering foundational skills
• Communicate with parents about concerns, swimming abilities, and things to work on at home.
• Enforce swim facility's rules, policies, and regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare or working with students is preferred.
• Former swim team members with proficient stroke skills.
• Teachers with experience instructing and managing groups.
• Nannies or caregivers with swim instruction or water safety experience.
• Experience in related activities such swim team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and foster a love for swimming.
• Understanding of both foundational swimming skills and stroke development
• Lifeguard or CPR certification preferred
• Great communication skills and responsiveness via email or text

This is an in-person position. Looking for applicants who live and can easily commute to Buckhead, GA, 30305.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
