Swimming Pool Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and service of swimming pools and related equipment. The role involves both indoor and outdoor pools, ensuring water quality, cleanliness, and the overall functionality of pool systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance of swimming pools, including cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming debris from pool surfaces.
• Test and balance water chemistry, ensuring proper chemical levels for safe swimming conditions (e.g., chlorine, pH, alkalinity).
• Inspect, repair, and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of pool structures (tiles, liners, decking, etc.) for damage and wear.
• Provide pool owners and managers with reports on maintenance needs and water quality.
• Handle and safely store chemicals required for pool maintenance.
• Assist in the installation and replacement of pool equipment as needed.
• Respond to emergency pool maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards.
• Educate customers on proper pool maintenance and usage.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of pool water chemistry and maintenance equipment.
• Familiarity with pool pumps, heaters, filters, and other mechanical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques to identify and solve problems.
• Understanding of safety standards and practices related to pool maintenance.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized pool maintenance organization (e.g., Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent).
• Experience with both residential and commercial pool systems.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems related to pools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD200.000 - BD220.000 per month
