- Clean and vacuum swimming pools, fountains, and spas.
- Remove debris, leaves, and dirt from pool surfaces and surrounding areas.
- Brush walls, tiles, and floors to prevent algae buildup.
- Test and monitor water quality (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness).
- Add appropriate chemicals to balance water and ensure guest safety.
- Maintain records of water tests and chemical usage as per health standards.
- Inspect and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty pool equipment.
- Replace broken tiles, lights, or other pool fixtures when needed.
- Ensure the pool area complies with local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor water clarity and safety signage.
- Report hazards and take corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Follow maintenance schedules for daily, weekly, and monthly pool care.
- Conduct backwashing of filters and lubrication of mechanical parts.
- Keep pool heating and circulation systems running efficiently.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or requests regarding pool facilities.
- Assist in maintaining a pleasant and safe pool environment.
- Support lifeguards and other staff by ensuring the pool is always in usable condition.
- Maintain stock of pool chemicals, cleaning tools, and spare parts.
- Record maintenance activities and report major repairs to management.
- Coordinate with engineering and housekeeping teams for upkeep.
