Swimming Pool Technician

• Install swimming pool systems including piping, pumps, filters, heaters, lighting, control panels, and water features.
• Coordinate pool works with civil, waterproofing, tiling, electrical, and MEP teams.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and sealing of pool equipment and fittings.

Testing & Commissioning

• Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, and system performance checks.
• Commission pool systems including circulation, filtration, dosing, and heating systems.
• Balance pool water chemistry during handover stages.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of installed pool systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Respond to defects during defects liability period (DLP).

Quality & Safety

• Ensure all works comply with project quality standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local authority regulations.
• Follow HSE policies, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pool equipment and materials.
• Report progress, technical issues, and material requirements to the Project Manager.
• Assist during client inspections, authority approvals, and final handovers.

Requirements & QualificationsEducation

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years experience as a Swimming Pool Technician.
• Experience in interior fit-out projects such as villas, hotels, resorts, gyms, or luxury residences is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
• Pool circulation and filtration systems
• Chemical dosing systems
• Pool lighting and control systems
• Waterproofing interfaces and finishes coordination
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
