Swimming Pool Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance and cleaning. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our clients. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, making it essential for candidates to have a background in service technician roles.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools
• Inspect pool equipment for proper operation and make necessary repairs
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks
• Balance pool chemicals to ensure water quality and safety
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide effective solutions
• Document service performed on each pool visit for client records
• Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules and any necessary repairs

Qualifications

• Have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to swim
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment
• Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks
• Previous experience as a service technician is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients
• Must be willing to work in different weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
