Swimming Pool Technician (SWP Technician)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Swimming Pool Technician to ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of swimming pools and associated systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining water quality, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
• Monitor and maintain water quality by testing and adjusting chemical levels such as chlorine and pH.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, dosing systems, and control panels.
• Conduct backwashing and cleaning of filtration systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical and electrical components of pool systems.
• Identify and report leaks, cracks, or structural defects; carry out minor repairs when required.
• Ensure strict compliance with local health regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemical usage, and equipment performance.
• Ensure safe storage, handling, and usage of chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of swimming pool systems, plumbing, and electrical components.
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and chemical handling procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs independently.
• Good physical condition with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification in swimming pool maintenance or relevant technical training is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in swimming pool maintenance or facilities management.
• Experience in GCC/Qatar will be an added advantage.

• Immediate availability preferred.
