System Admin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement compliance policies and configuration profiles in Intune across Windows, Mac devices.
  • Manage and deploy applications to remote devices.
  • Administer and manage Microsoft Intune for mobile device and application management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Intune, endpoint security, operating systems, software, development tools, and network problems.
  • Perform Intune enrollment for devices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and conditional access policies in Intune, across devices and cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with SysAdmin, ITOps, and Information Security teams to define plans, standards, and security measures for device management, including patch management, antivirus, and firewall configurations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection.
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure for cloud management and solution deployment.
  • Manage asset management for all IT hardware and software.
  • Ensure security and data integrity through regular backups and antivirus management.
  • Apply security patches and perform updates to maintain system integrity.
  • Maintain documentation related to Intune administration and IT systems, contributing to a shared Knowledge Base.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for IT services and procurement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Intune and Windows Administrator or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of device administration in other platforms like Linux, MacOS and Android.
  • Strong knowledge of Intune, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and other related technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with MDM, MEM and other endpoint management tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Endpoint Administrator and Windows Administrator or equivalent are a plus.
