System Admin

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and system hardware/software.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in Active Directory or equivalent systems.
• Maintain system security through updates, patches, firewall management, and antivirus oversight.
• Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery planning, and restore procedures.
• Oversee network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
• Implement and enforce IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks, hardware setup, and technical support.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support business needs and project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Proficiency in network administration and security (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Certifications (Required)

• Required:
• CompTIA A+ / Network+ (or equivalent experience)
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (MCSA)

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
