Join AZAD Technology Partners as a System Administrator and
provide support to the Asset Management and Engineering Applications organization within the IT Department. The Systems Administrator / Customer Support performs a variety of work including contributing to the upkeep and support of the enterprise Geographic Information Systems, data and data flows and the planning and delivery of customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training in response to customer requirements.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Portland, OR with on site 2 days per week.
The hourly pay rate range for this position
is
$45.00 and $53.00 depending on qualifications.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience is required with an associate or bachelor's degree in applicable fields.
5 years of experience is required without a degree or an applicable degree.
2 years of related experience with focus on Geographic Information System Solutions (ESRI, Google, or similar) is required.
2 years of experience using Python or other supported scripting language for ArcGIS products is required.
Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS software suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise).
Familiarity with geospatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, geodatabases, KML).
Basic understanding of SQL for querying spatial databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server).
Exposure to scripting languages such as Python for automating GIS tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Valid U.S. Driver's License or Real ID is required.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with cloud GIS platforms and services, such as ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, Field Maps designer, etc.
Understanding of ITIL principles for service management
Familiarity with CRM systems (Cherwell / ServiceNow)
