System Administrator (Part Time), Level 1

What You Will Do:

As a System Administrator Level 1 at Independent Software, you will support mission-critical operations in a Tier 2 role focused on remote operations. You will provide direct technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network systems in a secure, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network, desktop, and system hardware and software
• Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
• Deliver remote support through desktop mirroring and other access applications for worldwide sites
• Identify, investigate, resolve, and document issues reported by users of cloud infrastructure
• Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals as needed
• Ensure effective weekend operations on assigned shifts and complete weekday training requirements

• Experience with hardware support and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in remote assistance and remote desktop tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve system issues quickly
• Effective communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical users
• Ability to work weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 4pm and complete weekday training Monday through Friday from 6am to 2pm

• High School diploma or GED with 10 years of relevant experience
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree with at least six (5) years of relevant experience

• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification requirements

• Must possess an active TS/SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role
