For a very well known multinational company located in the Fifth Settlement, a
System Security Engineer
is urgently needed:
Objectives of this Role

Ensure system Windows and Linux are harden and supports all business operations.

Ensure Windows, Linux and Active Directory services: Maintain a highly available, robust, and performant system that supports all business operations.

Strategic Alignment & Compliance: Ensure security practices comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and align with the organization's long-term business goals and IT strategies
Tasks and Duties:
System Security Design and Implementation
-
Design, deploy, and maintain functional and secure system using various security tools (vulnerability scanner, compliance tools,…).

Develop and implement security solutions that are scalable, reliable, and performant.
Security Management
-
Configure and manage the security of systems, including hardening, ACL, and endpoint protection.

Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses.

Lead security incident response efforts, conducting investigations, containing threats, and implementing corrective actions.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Security performance using advanced diagnostic tools to identify necessary adjustments and improvements.

Provide expert, high-level support and troubleshooting for complex security issues
.
Documentation and Compliance

Create and maintain detailed System security architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ensure all processes and systems adhere to established security policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration and Mentorship

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

Mentor and train junior team members, foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and best practices
.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Security Engineering, or a related field is typically required.

4 -8 years of hands-on experience in Windows and Linux security engineering.

Very good command of English

Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex System Security environments.

Expertise in Windows Server, Workstation, WSUS, Active Directory and GPO strategies.
-
Proficiency with a variety of Endpoint security products from major vendors (e.g., Carbon black, Trellix, vulnerability scanner, …).
