System Specialist SCADA/ADMS

The System Specialist – SCADA/ADMS installs, configures, tests, and commissions Survalent’s ADMS solutions (SCADA, OMS, DMS, and StationCentral HMI) and provides customer training. Based in Dubai, the role focuses on deploying StationCentral HMI in substation retrofit projects and requires strong protection and control (P&C) experience. This is a field-intensive role supporting customers across the MEAI region with approximately 70% travel. If this sounds like the right role for you, keep reading!

The position will be responsible for:

• Install, configure, test, and commission Survalent ADMS solutions (SCADA, OMS, DMS) on customer systems.
• Configure Microsoft SQL Server and support system deployments in physical and virtual environments.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance validation.
• Deploy and integrate StationCentral HMI in substation environments, working with protection and control (P&C) systems.
• Provide onsite and remote support, including installations, database builds, GIS imports, and technical guidance.
• Deliver customer training on SurvalentONE ADMS and StationCentral HMI platforms.
• Travel to customer sites (~70%) for installations, commissioning, and training across the MEAI region.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers, document project activities, and support continuous product improvement.
• Other duties as required.

The Successful Candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
• 3 to 5 years of technical experience in electronics, software, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Electrical Control Systems, Communications, Power Distribution, or Process Control.
• Demonstrated experience in protection and control (P&C) systems and substation environments, including working with protection relays, substation automation, and HMI integration.
• Prior exposure to substation retrofit projects is a strong advantage.
• Experience working with utilities in the UAE, GCC, or MEAI region is preferred.
• Valid UAE driver's license is required
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server installation and configuration is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Highly self-motivated, action-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies in a field environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 70% of the time across the MEAI region. This is a field-intensive role and frequent travel is expected.
• Knowledge of SCADA, OMS, DMS, or ADMS systems is a strong advantage.
• Arabic language skills are considered an asset for this role.
