Education and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course work in business, computer information systems, or a related field.

Experience in systems support work preferred. Education and experience may be substituted for one another

Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable
Job Purpose:

Provides help desk customer service and answers user inquires regarding computer software, hardware operation, and the use and interface of systems and software applications

Provides operational assistance in the implementation and use of computer hardware and software

Assists in troubleshooting and resolving computer-related problems
Job Function:

Work involves operating automated office equipment such as personal computers, and other comparable equipment in either a stand-alone, network or server environment

Provides training to agency staff in the implementation and use of automated systems

Assists in inventory management of technology resources and assets

Assists in routine database activities, such as pulling data for reports and data entry
