Systems Administrator

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support enterprise IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, and systems while supporting day-to-day operations and long-term IT initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications
Monitor system performance, availability, and security across environments
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory, IAM)
Perform system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across infrastructure
Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
Maintain system documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with network engineers, security teams, and developers to support infrastructure needs
Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
Ensure systems comply with security policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in systems administration or IT operations
Strong experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
Experience with system monitoring tools and log management
Proficiency in scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
