About the Division

About the Role

The Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring network security, compliance, user training, and other IT duties. The Systems Administrator reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Building, monitoring and maintaining the Company's production environment on the Azure network.
• Building, monitoring and maintaining the local office network, including the scraper servers and individual employee machines.
• Purchasing, installing and maintaining core software applications for the servers and workstations.
• Occasional light programming to facilitate any of the above duties.
• Managing the client network security survey process, including running scans and penetration tests as required.
  • The Company shall provide the Consultant with an assistant to complete the security survey process.
• Maintaining the local office's PCI compliance and securing Azure's higher certifications for use in the above-mentioned surveys.

Policies and Procedures

• Drafts, maintains, updates, categorizes, stores, and disseminates policies and procedures.

Planning

• Creates and maintains incident action plans and backup and disaster recovery plans.

Network and Infrastructure Engineering

• Designs and implements on-premises and virtual servers and assets, including CDN, DNS, routing and recovery vaults.

Network Monitoring and Analysis

• Monitors, analyses, and responds to security alerts.

Programming and Development

• Programming/scripting as needed to facilitate objectives.
• Assist in performing QA testing activities.

Resource Management

• Administers user accounts and authentication methods.
• Monitors and controls all access to data.

Business Continuity Incidents:

• Continuously monitor for and respond to adverse events.

Requirements

• BS/MS in related field.
• 1-2 years of experience working in capacity of systems administrator.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience working with Azure.

Work shift:
4 PM – 1 AM Pakistan Time
OR
5 PM – 2 AM Pakistan Time
