By joining our Division of Structural Design as a Systems Administrator in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to support the management and integration of geotechnical and structural engineering software systems, including CADD, databases, and analysis tools. The role assists senior staff in maintaining system performance, coordinating vendor implementations, and improving data flow across platforms.
Summary Of Responsibilities

Support CADD, database, and engineering software system management.

Coordinate with vendors on software updates and implementation needs.

Assist with integration between database systems, OpenRoads, and analysis software.

Maintain compatibility with legacy data and archived systems.

Serve as liaison between technical staff and vendor support.
Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience In

Experience with OpenRoads, CADD, or similar engineering software.

Familiarity with geotechnical/structural databases or data management systems.

Knowledge of software integration and data workflows.

Experience coordinating with vendors or technical support teams.

Strong problem-solving skills in technical or IT-related environments.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
High School graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Two years of experience in IT systems administration, IT systems support, or IT systems analysis
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:
Additional education in computer science, IT, or a related field will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:
Additional experience in IT systems administration, IT systems support, or IT systems analysis will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis OR a certification in an IT related field will substitute for the required education.

Probationary Period
