Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst 3 to support enterprise application analysis, system modernization, and low-code platform development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience translating business needs into technical solutions, performing cost/benefit analysis, and supporting application development within Microsoft Power Platform environments.

This role requires the ability to work with limited supervision while exercising independent judgment and initiative in a fast-paced project environment.

Level Description

• 4–7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the discipline

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

• Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for independent decision-making

• Demonstrates creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business objectives, challenges, and operational needs

• Identify alternative solutions and perform cost/benefit and feasibility analyses

• Gather, analyze, and document user requirements and business processes

• Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements or automation opportunities

• Prepare detailed functional documentation, including workflows, use cases, and system specifications

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data inputs, outputs, reporting needs, and process improvements

• Assess system capabilities, constraints, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes

• Support application development, testing, and implementation activities

Additional Responsibilities & Special Considerations

• Support development, implementation, and expansion of Microsoft Power Platform solutions

• Perform Systems Analyst and light development duties using:

  • Dataverse

  • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven)

  • Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop Flows)

  • Power Pages / Portals

  • Business Process Flows

• Assist with governance and administration activities using the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support custom application development and ongoing enhancements

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience working with SaaS and/or PaaS environments

• 4+ years experience with Microsoft Power Platform development

• 4+ years experience designing and developing:

  • Canvas Apps

  • Model-driven Apps

  • Dataverse-based solutions

• 4+ years experience developing Power Automate Cloud and Desktop Flows

• Strong experience with Dataverse tables and data structures

• Experience building and supporting Power Pages portals

• Experience using Power Platform CoE Admin Center

• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams

• Experience working in Agile development environments and sprint planning

• Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams

• Experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, and advanced Power Pages capabilities
