Systems Analyst Intern

Systems Analyst Intern
Faith Group, LLC is a women-owned business headquartered in St. Louis, MO, with eight regional offices nationwide. We are a recognized leader in systems engineering, consulting, and professional services for clients whose facilities are their business. Our culture is grounded in our core values: Integrity, Dignity, Quality, Impact, Collaboration, and Innovation. We have supported thousands of projects across Aviation, Transit & Rail, Federal, State & Local Government, Data Centers, Education, and Commercial markets.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Systems Analyst Intern to support a high-priority, company-wide data integrity initiative within our Operations team. This is a full-time, dedicated role focused on auditing, cleaning, and modernizing Faith Group's CRM contact database, a foundational resource for our Marketing and Business Development outreach efforts.
This is a high-impact internship where you will take ownership of a meaningful, visible project from start to finish. You will help improve and streamline the process itself. A core deliverable of this role is building and documenting a repeatable, automated (or semi-automated) process that Faith Group can sustain long after the initial cleanup is done. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and technically resourceful, someone who enjoys working in the data while also finding smarter, more efficient ways to get the job done.
This role sits within the Operations team and reports to the Operations Manager.
Why This Role?
Most internships ask you to support someone else's work. This one asks you to lead your own. The CRM contact database is one of the most strategically important assets in our business development operation, and this role will play a key part in strengthening and modernizing it.
In this position, you will touch nearly every corner of the company, build relationships across disciplines, and leave a real mark on how Faith Group connects with its clients all while working directly alongside Faith, the founder and owner of the firm.
If you're the kind of person who gets satisfaction from bringing order to chaos, building something that actually works, and learning from the best, this is your role.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
CRM Data Audit & Cleanup
  • Audit and clean up Faith Group's CRM contact database, identifying outdated, duplicate, or inactive records
  • Research and verify contact information for clients, partners, and industry stakeholders across all market sectors
  • Flag, remove, or update contacts that are no longer active (retired, changed organizations, or otherwise unreachable)
  • Develop and maintain a consistent methodology for evaluating contact validity and data completeness
Contact Data Collection & Coordination
  • Partner with Project Managers and Lead Engineers firm-wide to collect and validate current client and partner contacts from active and completed projects
  • Review contracts, project files, and other source documents to identify key stakeholder contacts
  • Cross-reference industry committee memberships, conference rosters, and association directories to identify current, relevant contacts
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for contact submissions across internal teams
Systems & Process Development
  • Design and build automated or semi-automated tools, scripts, or workflows to streamline contact data collection, verification, and updating
  • Develop a scalable, repeatable process for ongoing CRM maintenance that the organization can sustain independently after the initial cleanup is complete
  • Document all automation logic, data entry standards, and update procedures in a clear, accessible format for future use
  • Continuously identify inefficiencies in the data cleanup process and engineer smarter solutions to address them
Reporting & Communication
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Operations Manager and Marketing/BD leadership
  • Prepare summary reports on data audit findings, cleanup progress, and remaining work
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders when requesting contact information
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Cosential/Unanet CRM) a plus
  • Experience with programming or scripting tools (e.g. Python, VBA, Power Automate, or similar tools), strongly preferred
  • Ability to think systematically and translate a manual process into a repeatable, automated workflow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and follow through on commitments
Location & Work Schedule
  • Position is based at our St. Louis, MO Headquarters
  • Full-time, in-person role
Compensation & Benefits
  • Paid internship with hourly rate based on experience and education level
  • Professional development and mentorship opportunities
  • Hands-on exposure to business development operations within a national consulting firm
  • Networking opportunities across project management, engineering, marketing, and executive leadership
