Müller’s Solutions is seeking a Systems and Cloud Administrator to join our remote team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our cloud infrastructure and related systems, managing deployments, maintaining resources, and ensuring optimal functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support our operations in various environments while fostering a culture of collaboration and performance excellence.
The Systems and Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing, operating, and optimizing the organization’s hybrid infrastructure environment, spanning on-premises virtualization platforms (VMware) and multi-cloud environments including OCI, GCP, and Microsoft Azure.
The role includes L3 operational support, system performance optimization, identity and access management, and ensuring business continuity, security, and compliance across all systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and sustain the VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter infrastructure, which involves managing the VM lifecycle, templates, clusters, high availability (HA), and distributed resource scheduling (DRS).
- Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, File/Print services, and WSUS.
- Manage Linux systems such as RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS, focusing on security hardening, patch management, and automation tasks.
- Conduct L3 troubleshooting for operating system-level issues, virtualization challenges, and performance problems.
- Establish and uphold patching, configuration management, and compliance with baseline standards.
- Monitor and optimize system capacity, resource utilization, and performance tuning to ensure maximum availability.
- Manage and provide support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, encompassing compute, storage, networking, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Oversee Google Cloud Platform (GCP) projects, including IAM roles, VM instances, and networking components.
- Operate Microsoft Azure cloud services, such as virtual machines, storage solutions, virtual networks, and monitoring services.
- Implement and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions including VPNs, ExpressRoute, and interconnects.
- Assist with the migration and deployment of workloads between on-premises infrastructure and public cloud environments.
- Monitor and enhance cloud resource usage and cost management across different platforms.
- Administer Azure Active Directory / Entra ID for managing user lifecycles, single sign-on (SSO), and conditional access policies.
- Integrate on-premises Active Directory with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID for effective hybrid identity management.
- Manage group policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), access controls, and application integrations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to authentication, federation, and directory synchronization.
- Support activities related to replication, snapshot management, and failover testing for critical workloads.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or Cloud Administrator role.
- Proficiency in cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash for task automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suited for a remote work environment.

- 5+ years of experience in systems, virtualization, and cloud administration.
- Proven experience with:
- VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter
- Windows Server (2016–2022) and Linux (RHEL / Ubuntu / CentOS)
- Azure AD / Entra ID
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Backup & DR solutions (Veeam, etc.)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, storage concepts, and identity management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Entra ID / Identity Engineer
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Linux+
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate / GCP Cloud Engineer
- ITIL Foundation v4 for process awareness
