Koniag Data Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Systems Developer to support our government customer. This is a remote opportunity. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

This position is to support a Microsoft website with Java and SQL requirements central system for storing System Inventory, Weakness, Privacy Impact Assessment, and Third-Party Website Assessments (TPWA).
The system is responsible for validating and reconciling data submitted by the government customer's offices and generating reports.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
The System Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing automated solutions across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintain and improve .Net Framework ASP.Net applications.
  • Maintain and improve Excel validation template for System Inventory and Weakness data.
  • Provides support for FISMA report ETL scripts as required.
  • Apply software updates and resolve reported vulnerabilities to maintain system security
  • Monitor support inbox and respond in a timely manner.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support as required.
  • Lead efforts to improve data quality.
  • Work with FISMA compliance team and OpDivs to continuously improve the quality of the data.
  • Be responsible for developing internal and external communication programs and services.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently but also fosters a cooperative environment to work in a collaborative fashion with management, peers, and other organizational units.
  • SSO – Single Sign On
  • FISMA – System Inventory and weakness
  • Privacy – PIA and TPWA
  • Maintain and improve Excel validation template for System Inventory and Weakness data.
  • Provides support for FISMA report ETL scripts as required.
  • Apply software updates and resolve reported vulnerabilities to maintain system security

  • Provide troubleshooting and support as required.

Qualifications:
  • Oracle experience preferred.
  • Significant relational database experience required.
  • Development expertise in .Net, C#, Git, Visual Studio, Node, Visual Studio Code, and PL/SQL.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software systems and windows deployment environments.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently on multiple projects.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on-site in Washington D.C
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related
  • 8 years
  • 5 years
Security Requirement:
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
