Systems Development Engineer, AWS CLM

DESCRIPTION

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. AWS CLM team develops and operates 1P and 3P based solutions to support the SMGS' mission and to drive positive outcomes for our internal and external customers.

Team CLM is looking for a Systems Development Engineer with a passion for working on latest technology, who obsesses over creating bar-raising experiences for customers, and thrives in a fast paced environment. Our solutions are built on AWS services and 3P platforms.

Key job responsibilities
In this position you will: contribute to both backend services and front end UIs, write and review technical designs with the team incorporating feedback to evolve the designs, and build solutions that are secure, performant, and scalable. You will help drive the team towards high standards and best practices in architecture, development and operations.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
  • Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with distributed systems at scale
  • Experience developing software on Salesforce platform.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
