The Role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our systems and hardware run smoothly, providing timely technical assistance, and maintaining a high level of user satisfaction. You will also be involved in basic server administration and network-related tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for all desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and various Linux distributions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues specific to each operating system, such as boot failures, driver conflicts, and application errors.
• Perform basic administration tasks for Windows Server, including user account management, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Conduct regular system maintenance, including patching and updating Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues for end-users.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with the setup of new workstations and user accounts.
• Document technical procedures and solutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.

Requirements

• 6 months - 3 years of experience in a desktop support or IT-related role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and file/print services.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is a plus.
