Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Systems Sales Engineer (SE) who will act as a trusted advisor to our customer’s beginning as a presales activity while aiding the customer’s transformational journey through the adoption of our solutions portfolio. Your primary responsibility is to partner with the sales team and provide technical knowledge around Nutanix solutions to our customers and prospects. You’ll provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and guide prospects through technical evaluations (POCs) which are critical to the deal's success. Additionally, you will work with various teams to resolve customer concerns, escalate product issues, and serve as an ambassador for our brand.

You will report to the Manager, Systems Engineering, who provides mentorship and guidance to help you thrive in your role. At Nutanix, we offer a flexible work setup. This role is remote, requiring Systems Sales Engineers to work in their respective territories and engage directly with customers and the channel partner ecosystem.
Travel requirements for this role involve being on the road 25% of the time within the region, allowing you to connect with customers, partners, and colleagues in person to drive relationships and business success.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,200 and USD $ 247,800 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/ or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
