About The Role
As a Deployment Engineer in the Picus Global Technical Assistance Center (TAC), you will play a key role in enabling customers to strengthen their cyber resilience through effective deployment, integration, and operational use of Picus solutions.
You will manage the full post-sales deployment lifecycle, ensuring smooth installation, configuration, and integration of Picus products into diverse customer environments. This includes understanding customer architectures, preparing for any necessary deployment requirements, and integrating Picus with SIEM, EDR, XDR, NGFW, WAF, and other security technologies.
In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will help customers optimise both detection and prevention layers. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through setup, configuration, and best practices to maximise the value of the Picus platform.
You will also contribute to continuous product improvement by working closely with R&D, Labs, Product Management, and QA teams, sharing insights from real-world deployments and supporting validation activities that mirror typical customer use cases.

Lead the end-to-end deployment of Picus products in customer environments,

Install, configure, and validate Picus solutions following established best practices,

Assess customer architectures and design deployment approaches that align with their requirements,

Integrate Picus with SIEM, EDR, XDR, NGFW, WAF, and other security technologies,

Ensure deployed environments are fully prepared and optimised for operational detection and prevention use cases,

Troubleshoot installation, configuration, and integration issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution,

Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers on the use of Picus for both detection and prevention scenarios,
-
Identify recurring patterns or challenges across deployments and contribute to scalable, repeatable methodologies,
-
Collaborate with R&D, Labs, Product Management, and QA to escalate product issues and support continuous improvement,

Create and maintain deployment documentation, integration guides, and technical knowledge content,

Share deployment insights, test results, and recommendations with internal and external stakeholders,

Provide support for customer cases that require your domain expertise, and contribute to broader TAC operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience,

Solid background in cybersecurity, with strong knowledge of threat detection and prevention techniques,

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a customer-facing technical role or advisory role,

Proven experience with Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) platforms or related cybersecurity testing methodologies,

Experience integrating and troubleshooting SIEM, EDR, and XDR platforms,
-
Experience with log analysis, query optimisation, and custom use case development for detection or prevention,
-
Familiarity with NGFW (Next-Generation Firewalls), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), DLP (Data Loss Prevention), antivirus, endpoint security, and email security solutions,

Ability to analyse, diagnose, and resolve complex issues,

Proficiency in English,

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with customers remotely and onsite,

Basic understanding of Windows or Linux systems, including administration and security risks,

Experience working in a customer-facing technical support or advisory role,

Good understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite and ability to analyse packet captures,

Experience with scripting (e.g., bash) for automation or troubleshooting,

Knowledge of current security control technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, DLP, AV, endpoint protection, WAFs, and email security solutions,
